During our annual OBX trip, I felt that some people were disappointed that the blog wasn’t being consistently written. Meirra, Josh, and I have been thinking about restarting it, but we haven’t really had the time to get things back on track for it. However, hearing that it is something that people enjoy makes us think that it is something worth continuing, and we’re all very excited for it.
There are a few other things that I hope will help the blog staff provide better content to the family, the big one to me being that we now have better contact info for the other cousins in our generation, and so it’ll be easy to keep you updated on how some of the younger cousins are doing. When we were consistently writing, I believe, it was 2012, four years ago, and I wrote about Josh’s second year in college, Meirra’s first, and Shayla’s college decision process. This year is another big year for us now that Joseph is going to be deciding on colleges, I’m starting my second year, Meirra is a recent graduate, and Shayla is going into her senior year of college so there are important decisions coming up for her too. That’s just the beginning, there is big news for just about everyone, and I’m really excited to write about it. The plan for now is that every few weeks starting now, we will publish a profile of a few members of the family, in ascending order of age. I’d like to wish a (belated) happy birthday to my brother, whose birthday present I typed this on (It’s a long story but I have an affinity for mechanical keyboards). He is now 17 and can drive on his own, so I’ll have to share the car with him (yuck), but I’m proud of him and hope that he continues to drive safely. Anyway, I hope that everybody is excited for the relaunch of the blog! The first profile will be about Max and will be published soon!

Great to read you're back! Wonder what Max is up to but I think you missed a few younger ones (I know, you don't see them very often so may not know how to get a hold of them): Youngest is Niya, then Esha, Nara, Vishnu, Krishna, Jah...Max is probably close to Vishnu's age...See, even I don't know the exact spelling of names and ages. maybe you can take that on at some point?!
