Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day Everybody! I hope all you mothers out there received an amazing day courtesy of your husbands and children, and I hope all you husbands and children gave your mothers's an amazing day. I apologize for the tardiness, however I too am a son, and therefore have to listen to my mother for mother's day, but that is all over so let's get to the update.

It has been a long time since I last wrote a post, Josh of course writing the last one, but alas, I am back. Well, these last few months has been a little different for everybody, but one common factor: busy. I, of course was busy with my baseball. Meirra and Josh, studying. Shayla, worrying about college. Up next, the results. We will go in an order opposite to that list.

Shayla, Shayla, Shayla, Shayla... She will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also got into Amherst College, which is ranked the second best liberal arts college in the country, and I think was a better choice, but as her sister pointed out is a tiny school, which makes it less attractive. Although Shayla was disappointing that she didn't get into Brown, I believe that UNC is just as good, if not better, than Brown even if it doesn't carry the Ivy League title.

Next Up, Josh. Well, he isn't quite done with college yet, so the heavy lifting is not over yet. He finishes in June, so he has a bit to go, but like any other college student was busy, and didn't have that much time to do the blog.

Meirra just finished her first year at UNC, and she said she had a great time. For her, the heavy lifting is over, and now she can try to get a summer job. Again, I don't have much to say here, because even though she had a busy winter with midterms and finals and such, she has a kind of free summer now.

Last, but almost the polar opposite of least, (just kidding), is me, Mr. Benjamin Vikram Grass. Now as you all know, I play baseball, rather seriously. And instead of writing a spiel about how busy I am, I'll sum it up to this wonderful picture:

Anyway, in the coming month, I believe father's day is coming up so I hope that the wives and children get a chance to support all the fathers out there. Also in the next month:
So see you next month!
