The Kids Grow Up So Fast...

Today is a very important day in family career history. Two of our own have made or are deciding what to do with our future. Both Meirra and Josh have important news about their future.

When Meirra went off to Paraguay, nobody really had any idea of what would happen upon her arrival home, and if she would change at all. Well, she seems to be the same person plus a few piercings including a nose piercing, however she has an idea of what she wants to do with her future. She is entering into UNC Chapel Hill going for a major in Cultural Anthropology and Languages, and a minor in Statistics. We wish her luck.

When Josh went off to California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo, ever single member of the family believed he would come back an engineer, however when he came back for the annual winter vacation, it became widely known that he would be switching majors. Soon after that vacation, it was announced that Josh had switched majors to Political Science. Publicly, he has said he really enjoyed Political Sciences, but sources have recently said that he has considered transferring to Middle Georgia College after his Sophomore year to become an Air Traffic Controller. It has always been his passion to pursue this job, but he now has realistic views of that dream coming true. Some people may find it worrisome, but don't fear, Air Traffic Controllers make on average about $110,000 a year, a respectable salary.

In other news, it has been decided that at the Winter Beach House Vacation, an olympics of sorts will be held. Details to come later. Also, Shayla says she wants to become a surgeon whereas Ben thinks he wants to become a Computer Scientist. That concludes our report, see you all later!
